On November 11, 2024, Quinn Hanoi Investment, Trade and Service Co., Ltd. organized a seminar with the theme “Working and Vocational Study in Germany – Creating the Future”. The program was attended by delegates from Vietnam and Germany, including Mr. Bernd Dikau, Mayor of Lohmen, along with many leaders and experts from government organizations and large enterprises.
Germany is known as a country with leading education in Europe, especially in the fields of engineering, technology, nursing and tourism. Currently, Germany is facing a labor shortage in many industries, from high-tech engineering to construction and health care. This is a great opportunity for Vietnamese workers and students who want to study and work in a country with a developed economy and high quality of life.
During the discussion, representatives from Quinn Hanoi shared information about vocational training and labor programs in Germany, emphasizing that this is an ideal opportunity for Vietnamese youth who want to improve their skills, learn and develop themselves in an international environment. From 2024, Germany will officially apply the Skilled Labor Immigration Law, creating favorable conditions for workers from outside the European Union, including Vietnam, to easily enter and work in Germany.
A highlight of the discussion was the introduction of cooperation programs between Vietnam and Germany in sending workers and international students to study and work in Germany. Accordingly, many vocational training programs are being implemented in German states, especially Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state, where there is a high demand for labor recruitment in fields such as nursing, information technology, natural sciences and medicine.
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is also one of the regions with strong development in industries such as clean energy, tourism, shipbuilding, sustainable agriculture, promising to bring many job opportunities for Vietnamese youth.
However, one of the major difficulties for Vietnamese workers and students when going to Germany is the language problem. German is not an easy language to learn, and foreign language preparation before departure is a mandatory requirement. Therefore, Quinn Hanoi has invested heavily in German language training programs, ensuring that candidates not only master language skills but are also fully equipped with knowledge of German culture and customs.
Therefore, Quinn Hanoi’s training program not only focuses on learning foreign languages but also provides German culture courses, helping young people prepare best before starting a new life in Germany.
With the cooperation between Vietnamese and German businesses, organizations and governments, opportunities to study and work in Germany are becoming more and more open. The seminar is not only an opportunity to share information but also a platform to help Vietnamese youth reach great opportunities in the future, build their careers and contribute to enhancing the cooperative relationship between the two countries. Through training and support programs, Quinn Hanoi is committed to continuing to accompany candidates, giving them opportunities not only to study abroad but also to change their lives in one of the strongest economies in Europe.
